Its fun to get recognition for the work or tasks you have completed.
If you are playing on a Microsoft console you will get achievements which have a number value and if your playing on the Playstation system you will unlock trophies.
You can read the name of each trophy or achievement so that you can select which one you want to unlock.
I play randomly unlocking as I go along rather than picking and choosing which one to unlock.
How do you go about unlocking achievements/trophies? Do you just randomly play unlocking them as you go?
Happy New Year! It’s been a while since I wrote anything. I spent my time absorbing ideas from others. Without further ado here goes my thoughts,
Chances are you have heard this title before if you ever were required to study Shakespeare. This was one of my favorites from the series of books that was written.
Much Ado about Nothing has a different meaning but I wanted to use the title literally.
The line has been drawn in the sand as it relates to the PS4 and Xbox One.
You might be wondering how so?
Well, the PS4 has Street Fighter 5 coming while Xbox One has the next installment of Tomb Raider.
Sure its been said that Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive but who really knows the truth?
I gotta say that I am glad that it is being published by Microsoft, maybe it will be advertised better.
Do you think there is a big deal being made about Tomb Raider or Street Fighter 5?
Are you taking a side in the sand as it relates to a specific console?

Video games is a great habit to have. There are many studies as to what benefits one receives when playing them. As a gamer do you feel pressured with the need to get a game upon release? Do you feel the need to keep up with the Joneses?
I do feel the pressure as it relates to keeping up with others but what helps me is knowing that the game will always be there when i decide to purchase it. Besides I have others I have yet to beat.
Nba 2k15 is already here and I haven’t even put a dent in 2k14!
How do you deal with the pressures of your peers?
I am fine being me and keeping my own pace.
As always follow, like and comment. Do you follow the trend or do you create your own current?

It’s been a little while since I wrote anything. I had this question in my head for a long time as it relates to video games and or other media such as Blue Rays and Dvds.
Does the cover art really matter? Is there something significant in looking at cover art?
Should gaming companies pay attention to the art that covers the box of our favorite games?
I think this question differs depending on the person. We all look forward to taking the plastic off of our games and media but the level of importance as it relates to the cover art varies.
There are special editions of media that obtain more content or different art which I can understand, in this instance cover art is important. On the other hand, its not like you can take the art off of the cover and play that.
I guess looking at the cover is a indication of what you can expect during gameplay? Do you agree with this statement?
This was a short post but I just wanted to ask that simple question.
What are your thoughts on this? Is cover art something to get excited about?

The big reveal of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare at Gamescom happened this week!
Overall Call of Duty has had its share of critics over the years and it’s been said that the game never changes.
Well… you can take that argument and throw it away.
The game has changed graphically and game-play wise.
It borrows from fps brothers like Titan Fall, Battlefield and Killzone.
What you have is COD at the core but a much more advanced game that continues to add and add until you have something similar to most of the games already out.
Customization seemed to be one of the biggest features of this particular game.
There are some negatives that I see, like aiming while jumping during boost jump and specifically targeting another players head. Get caught running in front of someone and its lights out.
One of the things that I liked was the coop score streak where one person can share their streak with another.
For the most part, this game will be fun to play.
Sure there will be people taking advantage of certain ways to killer their opponent, but at the end it’s all fun and games.
What are your thoughts on Call of Duty Advanced Warfare multiplayer? Did you watch the reveal?
Make sure you comment, like and follow!
Chances are if you in your 20’s you know of a time where games used to ship complete. When you heard a game went gold you knew you had the beginning, middle and end of a story all intact.
If there were any extra characters you usually had to beat the game on various difficulties to unlock them.
I’m not even sure if DLC was a word back then, come to think of it I think it was a curse word. A places of forbidden territory. If a game required extra content, extra game discs were including at no extra cost.
All this has changed. In a world of what you see if not what you get you have to be careful in which product you choose to invest your time in.
Today games come out unfinished, half storied, with the other half as DLC. Then the cow went a mooing, cows started showing up in games like COD, Battlefield to name a few. No literal cows but you get my point. It’s like the famer’s said, “Lets milk these cows and the cows said moooooooo”. Squeezing out every possible reason for a transaction.
For example, A wolf skin covering a dog….. Really? How about chapters to a game that should have already been included in the first place but using the excuse that it wouldn’t fit in the game?
I think this will be a trend that will be happening more and more in the future as gaming continues. If you are not a fan of this practice be sure to stay away from games that have it. I mean you can ignore the option all together by not buying any extra content outside of the original purchase of the game itself.
I don’t think that this will end gaming but I feel it will however, make it a common practice to see such options made available.
I guess this can be a positive as well. What are your thoughts? Do you support micro-transactions? Do you think they will be the end of gaming? Will we see it more often?
Be sure to follow, like and comment and share as always thanks!
