What’s up? So I felt a little retro. I thought that I would go back down memory lane and play some Super Mario Brothers 3. Well all I can say is that I tried lol. I kept dying, how you ask? Well those little mushroom triangle things kept touching me. (They have a official name which I don’t want to use). Anyway, I kept dying to the point where I was like this is not working out.
I used to play Super Mario Brothers 3 as a child and had fun doing so. This time the game seems ultra difficult. I couldn’t even make it past the second level. Despite this it was a blast to play.
Have you played any retro games as a youngster that seems harder today?

Hi All! It has been a few months since I typed anything. Welcome to all the new followers! E3 has come and gone, if you know me well enough you would know that their isn’t a surprise in who won e3. My vote goes to Nintendo! Mario odyssey made its presence known through demos, videos and interviews. Nintendo won e3 by announcing a new Metroid game. Enough about E3 2017.
The Nintendo Switch is still hard to come by, but the little system is doing amazing sales wise. I have one and I am glad to say that it is a fun system to own. That brings me to my next topic, Zelda Breath of the Wild. This game is one of the most realistic games I have ever played. Run too long and link gets tired, climb too far up and he falls down. This adds a level of realism not seen in many popular games. Its funny to say that initially, I thought that link was named Zelda!!!!! Since then I have learned that he is named link. Me and Zelda: the Breath of the Wild have a love and hate relationship I love the game but hate when I get stuck. When I first started the game I thought I was going to be led around and told what to do but I was surely fooled. I ran around until I ran into an abandoned church like structure, I thought I could find refuge their but to my surprise there was a beast waiting for me. I had no weapon to fight and every time I would attempt to hit him I would die. This beast would chase me for short distances until I would stay away from it. Needless to say me and this Zelda game have some time to spend together.
Who do you think won E3? Have you tried to get a Nintendo Switch? What has been your experience with Zelda Botw?
Hi all! I wanted to explore maturity and video games. Keep in mind, these are just my thoughts and feelings on the matter. You are welcome to disagree! With that said get to reading!
So do we grow up with age or do we just get older? Its hard to imagine emotional maturity having anything to do with video games but it does. How you may ask? If one is not mature emotionally, it affects ones ability to play and their choices as it relates to choosing a particular video game. Immature gamers see through the lens of immaturity. For example, the comment is always being made that Nintendo is for kids when in actuality Nintendo has broaden their audience and has changed their message to appeal to the masses.
Do games grow up with us or do we grow up with games ? Timeless treasures such as Zelda and Mario have stood the test of time. But they have been accused of not growing up. Its the same formula iteration after iteration. But that’s what works. Zelda Breath of the Wild is one of the most beautiful satisfying games ever created. An immature mind would only see how kiddy Nintendo is.
How important is emotional maturity when it comes to gaming? Does it matter if one is immature? As always be sure to follow, like and comment.
Chances are you have seen the trailer about the Nintendo Switch aka The Nintendo NX. If you haven’t here is the link. I feel that this system will do well as it has a duel purpose. What are your thoughts?
Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo all brought their A game to their respective conferences. Each one was flasher than the next. But who had the best conference? Well depending on who you ask, your answer will be different. Microsoft started out strong announcing their line up of games and 360 backwards compatibility. Sony did the same as expected, one of the highlights for me was hearing about Shenmue 3. That game alone got me excited. Some people felt that Nintendo digital conference was lack luster.
So enough with the chit chat, who do I think won E3 2015?
I have to say my vote is with Microsoft. Being able to play Xbox 360 games for free without a service fee spoke volumes. The game line-up stood out more to me as well. How can I forget to mention the car that was lowered on stage, that was cool too!
What are your thoughts? Who do you think won E3 2015?

Video games is a great habit to have. There are many studies as to what benefits one receives when playing them. As a gamer do you feel pressured with the need to get a game upon release? Do you feel the need to keep up with the Joneses?
I do feel the pressure as it relates to keeping up with others but what helps me is knowing that the game will always be there when i decide to purchase it. Besides I have others I have yet to beat.
Nba 2k15 is already here and I haven’t even put a dent in 2k14!
How do you deal with the pressures of your peers?
I am fine being me and keeping my own pace.

It’s been a little while since I wrote anything. I had this question in my head for a long time as it relates to video games and or other media such as Blue Rays and Dvds.
Does the cover art really matter? Is there something significant in looking at cover art?
Should gaming companies pay attention to the art that covers the box of our favorite games?
I think this question differs depending on the person. We all look forward to taking the plastic off of our games and media but the level of importance as it relates to the cover art varies.
There are special editions of media that obtain more content or different art which I can understand, in this instance cover art is important. On the other hand, its not like you can take the art off of the cover and play that.
I guess looking at the cover is a indication of what you can expect during gameplay? Do you agree with this statement?
This was a short post but I just wanted to ask that simple question.
What are your thoughts on this? Is cover art something to get excited about?
