With the release of Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition, for Xbox one and PS4, people have begun to note the differences between the two systems and the game. Rather than focusing on the game for what it is, (a great experience), they would rather focus on the PlayStation 4’s ability to render at 60 fps in 180p and the Xbox One’ only being able to render at 30-40fps in 1080p.
If you played the game on previous generation systems, you know what your getting. If you haven’t, check out my mini review. This is one of those situations where the game should be taken for what it is and what it is worth. Sure the next generation version brings with it a newer model of Lara Croft with a newer face allowing you to see her expressions but this does not justify a $60 price tag unless you have not played the game.
Obsessing over systems specs and capabilities only takes time away from actually playing the game. What are your thoughts on the Tomb Raider: The Definitive Version spectacle? Do you feel that specs matter? Do you expect the
Xbox One to keep up with the PS4? Be sure to follow, share and like.
